LP loves to draw and colour and so when Great Gizmos sent us the Meadow Kids Mini Stencil Set to review I thought it might help her get more creative with her drawing. We are already huge Meadow Kids fans and couldn’t wait to try out another of their products.
The Meadow Kids Mini Stencil Set comes in a two drawer storage case that is a really great feature. In the drawers there’s a pad of paper, a pas of stencils, cards, envelopes, colouring pencils and a sharpener – everything you need to make pieces of stencil related art!
The selection of stencils in the set is great with a lot of variety but they are all very girly – clothes, fairies, princesses etc. I was surprised there wasn’t a set of number stencils although there were letters but one sheet of stencils hadn’t been cut out fully and so one of the flower stencils was unusable – there were plenty of others though.
At the moment LP doesn’t quite understand the concept of the stencils – although she loves seeing a fairy appear when I draw around the stencils for her. I remember using stencils a lot as a child and I know in time LP will understand and love stencils too.
